The basics of hand building with clay will be taught in this class. Students will learn best practices for keeping clay together using two main techniques (on pinch pots and coils). I will demonstrate these skills and go over how to keep clay together by scoring and joining. After I demonstrate, students will brainstorm and share ideas for their creation giving them lots of choice while using techniques we have learned. Then they will start creating and share ideas.
