Students with little to no acting experience will learn the basics of how to analyze and create characters for Film & TV. Students will learn how to create an interesting character and bring themselves to a role. They will learn to breakdown a script and perform as if acting for film or tv. This is a great introductory class so that they can later join an ongoing scene study course.
I have taught acting classes to beginning actors, students in schools in the US and abroad and to professional actors in Los Angeles, Atlanta and the Caribbean. I am currently a professional actress in LA and can help your student explore the basics of on camera acting in a fun, supportive and encouragin environment!
クラス登録時に 2 の学習素材が提供されますA one page handout will be provided to every student. Additional scenes may be provided for those who prefer, but casting themselves in various characters and studying shows/films with their character types is encouraged.
If your actor does not already have a scene in mind or choose one provided, they have the option to find their own scene on tv or film. This scene choice must be approved by the parent. The parent may want to assist in helping the student write down the words for the characters in the scene. These should be short ~ 1 minute scenes with one to two people in the scene. No curse words or questionable materials will be allowed. The script will then be submitted to me (teacher) for approval with parent's confirmation before performance is allowed in class.
