Students will learn how to schedule their time appropriately and set achievable goals.
Students will improve their close reading skills by using dialogic journals.
Students will learn to craft a thesis and support their argument(s) with details from the text and quotes from scholarly sources.
Students will learn how to cite their sources, format their project, and edit effectively.
Students will sharpen their critical thinking skills by examining different perspectives on a topic, seeking out expert opinions, and evaluating arguments without falling prey to logical fallacies.

I received my M.A. in English Literature from NAU in 2023, graduating with distinction. I was our Sigma Tau Delta chapter's president from 2022-2023. I have presented multiple papers at national conferences & am currently the co-editor for an essay collection under contract with an academic press.
