As a gymnast for 9 years, gymnastics coach for 8 years, and a certified personal trainer, I love sharing my passion for health, fitness, and gymnastics with all my students!
While skills in this class are catered to at-home learning, parental guidance is always necessary, as any sort of physical activity can be dangerous, and could potentially result in injury. Students should wear moveable athletic-wear in order to fully engage in each activity. They should also have a safe space to practice gymnastics, free of any obstacles, alongside a clear wall nearby for handstand progressions. A gymnastics mat, yoga mat, rug, or soft surface should be available for performing tumbling skills. A water bottle is also advised.
