Syllabus: Fix-It Grammar Book 4 - Mowgli and Shere Khan (Semester 1)
Course Overview: This 15-week course builds on concepts taught in previous levels and presents a thorough explanation of additional punctuation rules, essential/nonessential clauses, complex sentence patterns, transitional prepositional openers, and more.

Required Materials:
•	Fix-It Grammar: Level 4 Mowgli and Shere Khan Student Book: Link to book
•	New Grammar Cards: Link to cards

Weekly Structure:
1.	Learn It!: On the first day of the new week, read through the Learn It section to cover a new grammar concept.
2.	Read It!: Read the day’s passage and review bolded vocabulary words.
3.	Mark It!: Mark the passage using the guide at the top of the daily practice page.
4.	Fix It!: Correct the passage using the guide at the top of the daily practice page.
We will mark and fix as many passages as we have time for in class each week. Any remaining passages will be completed as homework.

•	This is NOT a graded course. However, students have the option to turn in assignments each week via Google Classroom. Assignments will be reviewed and returned as completed.
