Students will learn the concept of multiplication, which is a different way to add numbers. We will be using counters (i.e., dry beans, small blocks, dry pasta) to learn how to multiply. It will be a interactive class where we will be counting and learning together. There is a master copy of the multiplication paper that we will use which has the equal and multiplication symbols already on it. Learners should know how to count and write numbers up to 50, some addition experience is helpful.

I will be offering classes in Language, Mathematics, Science (plant and animal nomenclature) for children ages 3 to 6.
I am a certified 3 to 6 Montessori Teacher for over 25+ years. I owned my own Montessori school for 15 years, serving children ages infant to 3rd grade.
I will offer smaller groups for my classes so I can help each child individually and we can have lots of interaction together as we learn. I follow the Montessori philosophy of each child learning at their own pace regardless of age and children are exceptionally capable and intelligent.
