This is a beginner level drawing class. The drawing that we will do each week uses lines, circles and basic shapes that will be age appropriate for our young learners. The sessions will not build on previous class. Each week the topics drawings will change.

Ms. Lauren will model step-by-step on how to draw the drawing of the week for students. Each week our drawing could either be an object or an animal. 

Even though Ms. Lauren is giving students step-by-step drawing instructions she encourages students that this is their piece of art and it's ok if it looks a little different from hers. Some students can get very frustrated when drawing so it is important to remember that our art can all be different and amazing because it's our OURS! 

Due to this class being a drawing class Ms. Lauren waits two minutes after class starts to begin the drawing. Please try to be on time. If time allows she may beable to go over what the late student missed when we start to color.  Most of the time we will start on the coloring in class however students may need to finish some coloring after class.. Some students so not want to color their drawing and that's ok. The last 3 minutes Ms. Lauren will encourage learners to tell us about their drawing. Students will never be forced to share.
