In this Mother's Day themed watercolor course, students will be expected to draw their own piece independently at home using the step by step tutorial posted within the classroom. This should take approximately an hour. The introductory interactive presentation itself should only take 10 minutes.

There are NO live meetings for this spring watercolor class, where we will be painting Mother's Day art. The material will be posted weekly and you can view it during the week at your convenience. Each week for 5 weeks students will be guided through a variety of exercises to help expand their knowledge of what we draw and get ample amount of time to practice their drawing and painting techniques with videos and presentations that have been pre-recorded. 

Each week will focus on one animal at a time and will be filled with various activities including interactive Nearpod presentations, step by step demonstrations, educational YouTube videos, fun interactive trivia games, ice breakers and a chance for students to display their own works using the Outschool platform.

In this Mother's Day themed watercolor course, students will paint a painting using watercolor and various watercolor techniques. Each student should also be able to leave the classroom with more confidence in their abilities to paint and end class with a deeper understanding of what they are painting.

Each class will feature an informational YouTube video about the subject matter we will draw. No accounts are needed to participate. Using Nearpod, we will be playing interactive games based on the YouTube video that was reviewed.
