While everyone believes that they can focus, brilliant people all over the world are working hard (and making a lot of money) making phones, apps, video games, TV shows, shopping, and just about everything as distracting and attention-grabbing as possible. On top of that, our biology and brains often make things worse.

In this class, we'll learn the biases, tricks, and strategies to "hack" your brain so that you can focus, get "in the zone", do your best work, and get things done. We will learn the latest techniques and strategies to make the most of your focus, time, and effort.

We will learn about and discuss:
- The HUGE benefits of getting and staying focused (and why it's so rare and hard nowadays)
- The main sources of distractions and how to avoid/combat them
- The concepts of "Deep Work" and "Flow" and how they can get you what you want
- Tricks and strategies to get focused, stay focused, and be productive
- PPP: Planning, Preparing, and Prioritization
- Why Willpower (and Multi-Tasking) Don't Work

This will be a discussion-based class with an image-heavy slideshow.
