Classes: I offer classes to preschool and elementary age children in a variety of areas from art and literacy to STEM activities. 
Education/Experience: I am a licensed Intervention Specialist K-12. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. I have taken continuing education courses in early childhood education and development for over 10 years.
I have been teaching young children since 2004. During summer breaks I enjoy hosting book clubs for children in grades 1st-5th. 
My philosophy behind my teaching: My favorite part of teaching is seeing a child’s excitement when they master a new skill. I believe that preschool and elementary school is the perfect age to impact a child’s life in a positive way. Teaching them to love school and how to be a good friend.

About Me: I am married and mom to daughter Elaina. I have a dog named Charlie and 2 cats MissyMs and MrMr. 
Fun Fact: When I was in 2nd grade I was placed in a reading group because I was struggling to learn to read. I credit my amazing reading teacher who helped me to not only become a better reader by helped me to learn to love to read!
