Discounted for the love of reading and writing! Spring is recognized as a time to celebrate reading and writing. April is known for poetry and the month of March for reading good books. Celebrating is always much more fun with a discount. This class is for homeschool learners that crave creativity, social interactions, discussions, and learning. In this class, we do not stick to the US state standards. Instead, we focus on creativity and finding the joy of writing. We dive deep into books for the love of the story. We will write without pressure or worries. Topics are selected that enable students to become stronger readers and writers while demonstrating the students' true selves. We will meet 2 times a week for 12 weeks. We will play games, complete fun activities, write, and discuss poems and a novel. The novel will be read outside of the class meetings. *Hey, what if I want to take this class and I am not homeschool? All learners are welcome! Come aboard! 学習到達目標
My goal for this class is to inspire readers and writers. Learners will build their reading and writing skills and along with their confidence. Through games, activities, writing, and sharing reading learners will form friendships and have a social network. Learners will have the confidence to speak and share with the group in a meaningful way. Learners will also increase their writing and reading comprehension skills. Spring is the perfect time to celebrate reading and writing since April is Poetry Month and March is Reading Month.

I will communicate with parents throughout the course of the class through messages and the class page. Students will read outside of class for a total of 4 hours. (maybe a little less or a little more)
We will use some websites throughout the course of the semester. Gimkit is a great site for teachers to make games. It does not require an account. We possibly will use Google Earth which does not require an account either. Students are welcome to present their creativity through resources they know and are allowed to use. For example, many students use Canva, Scratch, comic strip makers, avatar makers, and even old school paper and pencil.
