This English Language Arts Mastery Institute and Test Prep Homeschool course was designed to meet the needs of students around the world. This course was derived using BA Standards, but also integrates CCSS as well as State Specific Standards and is therefore appropriate for students ages 12-15 in US grades 6th, 7th, or 8th and students around the world.  We focus specifically on writing and grammar, spelling, reading comprehension.  We also focus on Test Prep Skills and Strategies in order to master those standardized testing such as HKDSE, SAT, CAT, LEAP, and more. 

This English Language Arts (ELA) Mastery Institute and Test Prep course is designed to help elementary students build a strong foundation in English. Students will develop essential skills in:

🍏Grammar: Master sentence structure, punctuation, and parts of speech.
🍎Spelling: Learn strategies to improve accuracy and fluency.
🍏Vocabulary: Expand word knowledge through engaging lessons and practice.
🍎Reading Comprehension: Analyze texts, infer meaning, and identify main ideas.
🍏Test Prep Skills: Practice strategies to excel in school exams, IGCSE preparation, and 🍎🍎Beyond.


How Is the Class Structured?
Our flexible, engaging course is divided into interactive sessions:

📚Mini Lessons (10–15 minutes): Focused instruction on grammar, vocabulary, or spelling.
📚Practice Time (15–20 minutes): Hands-on activities like writing exercises, spelling games, and reading passages.
📚Test Prep Practice (10 minutes): Weekly drills to develop confidence in tackling test-style questions.
📚Feedback & Discussion (5–10 minutes): Personalized feedback to help students improve.
📚Optional Projects: Creative assignments for deeper engagement, such as storytelling or vocabulary art.
