Let's be honest, either love them or hate them. For my family, we love them! Regardless of how you feel about them, they are super fun to use in science experiments! So, grab some Peeps and get ready for some fun! How does this work? Recordings will be posted every morning for 5 days. The recordings will be recorded as if your learner is in a class. Learners will be presented with the daily science experiment or challenge. Learners will then have the opportunity to complete activity on their own time and report their findings back to the class in the classroom page. Learners will share pictures of the Peep throughout the experiment, as well as the data they collected during the experiments. As a class, we will create our own data based on everyone’s findings. Each following video will provide insight on the previous experiment as well as presenting the next experiment. Schedule: Day 1- Dissolving Peeps Day 2- Peeps Stem Day 3- Sink or Float & Peeps Raft Day 4- Impacts of Temperature on Peeps Day 5- Marshmallow Peep Kahoot Game What is required: 4 packs of Marshmallow Peeps Toothpicks Jelly beans or hardened mini marshmallows Access to a microwave (Parent guidance required during Week 4) Variety of liquids: Sprite, vinegar, orange juice, water Supplied weekly worksheet This is a fun class that your learner won’t want to miss! All of my classes are inclusive. Please message me prior to class to discuss accommodations that your learner may need.

Hello families! My name Heidi and I love learning. I have a passion to help and guide others to find joy in learning. With over 17 years teaching experience at all levels (Prek-12), my goal for every class is to bring the fun from the classroom to your learner's device!
With over 5 years of online teaching experience, I enjoy finding new ways to make virtual learning fun! I offer a variety of educational classes for learners ages 3-12. In each class, learners will have the opportunity to learn, apply, and expand learning during class. All of my classes are open to learners of all abilities.
