This piano class is going to cover four different winter holiday, fun favorite songs on piano for learners who play at the level of both hands at the same time. This class is best for students in Piano Music Class 3+.(There is a one-hand at at time level of this class available for learners in Piano Music Class 1-2.) The four songs we will learn in this class are Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls, Up On the Housetop, and Auld Lang Syne. The beginning of class will be a warm-up song opportunity for each learner to play a song of their choice that they already know or have practiced. Next, we will work on naming notes in Treble Clef and Bass Clef. Finally, we will spend the remainder of each class working on the four holiday songs in order. Some note name hints will be included in the songs and clean no-hint versions will also be provided in the slideshow after class for practicing. Learners who practice between lessons will better retain the new knowledge of the songs.

I have been a private piano teacher and music instructor for over 28 years after earning my BA in Music at California State University, Long Beach. My strength is in introducing music theory and piano skills to young students in a way that makes learners feel successful and confident. Students feel accomplished playing beautiful songs on piano while learning to read music and seeing their practice efforts pay off.
My classes run in a series starting from Piano Music Class Level A (Primer), next into Piano Music Class Level B through Piano Music Class Level J as consistent piano classes.
Piano Music Class Series Levels A - F are 10 week classes each over 1 term.
Piano Music Class Series Levels G - J are 20 week classes each over 2 terms.
