Students will acquire and demonstrate skills in critical analysis of primary and secondary historical sources. Objectives: Interpret information, and other forms of evidence, in their historical context. Differentiate between historical fact and Mythical fiction.
Having graduated with a degree in art history, I have been trained to look at and research works of art (from all eras) in order to see, find and contribute to the historical narrative of a piece of artwork or artifact. Being of Celtic ancestry I developed an extreme interest is the ancient Celts and devoted a passion to the study of their culture. I am a 10th generational American and have experienced Halloween in this nation first hand, as well as, hearing eye witness testimony from my parents and grandparents on their experiences of Halloween.

Children under 10 years of age may find the course's information to be a bit spooky. This is primarily a lecture-style course full of wonderful and fun historical information. Parents are encouraged to reach out to me prior to class if their child needs more simulation to stay on task. I will be asking the students specific questions in order to encourage them in a discussion, I do ask that their videos stay on. If your child is shy, please let me know ahead of time and we will find the appropriate accommodations.
