This class will get your child moving, and is designed for those fast movers with high energy! Dancers will learn basic hip-hop choreography and techniques. The upbeat music allows for more cardio based movements. This beginner friendly hip-hop class will have a warmup, center combination, freestyle, across the floor combination, and ends with learning a short choreographed routine. In this specific one time class we will be working on improving balance i.e. dancers will learn a hip-hop step that utilizes balancing on one foot.

保護者へのお知らせ
Please make sure your child is dressed in comfortable clothes they can move in, and gym shoes. Have a water bottle ready as I will give a “water break” in the middle of class. Also, create a designated space for the child to move safely and freely (move couches, tables, etc out of the way)

Hi Parents!
My name is Ms. Alisha, the classes I teach are Ballet (3-5yrs), Ballet/Tap (3-5yrs) Hip-Hop (3-5yrs), Ballet (6-10yrs), Jazz (6-10yrs), and Contemporary (6-10yrs).
I started my dance training at the age of two; building solid foundations in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and contemporary. I later went on to receive my Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Columbia College Chicago. During my time in college, I discovered my love for teaching.
Since moving to California I started my own dance studio Elevé Dance Studio! Elevé is dedicated to the achievement and growth of our dancers! We pride ourselves on providing a wide range of dance styles including: ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary. We provide high quality dance instruction for all children regardless of race or gender. Elevé aims to expand every students’ dancing abilities through fun, creative, and engaging classes! Each class is tailored to its students’ age and technique level. Our classes will enhance your child’s confidence, self-expression, and creativity!
