My goal is to equip students to know what it takes to be in the forensic field. Also, if they choose this career to pinpoint where their interest lies.

As a seasoned Biology educator with over 38 years of experience, I have had the opportunity to teach forensic camps for more than two decades. In order to stay up to date on the latest techniques and technologies in the field of forensics, I recently completed the Introduction to Forensics course offered by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore through Coursera.

Each week, students will be provided with a website to read and a handout to complete for review during class. If there is sufficient time, these materials will be discussed in class. Students are expected to submit their completed homework in the classroom.

Students' progress is assessed orally and also by completing homework assignments. A [presentation at the end of the course will be peer assessed.

Forensics4Kids: This website is specifically designed for kids and has information on forensic science techniques and careers, as well as interactive activities and games.
YouTube: Videos will be selected according to the weekly topic. It will be viewed on Google Slides.
