Class Experience In this 16-week course, students will learn the science behind forensics science and the techniques used in solving crime scenes. Being that this topic is of a sensitive nature, please consult with your child prior to enrolling. If they are ready to dive into this type of science, then enroll. It is a high school-level course that will be considered a half-semester credit. Students will be given reading assignments, videos, and worksheets, and a final presentation to...
My goal is to equip students to know what it takes to be in the forensic field. Also, if they choose this career to pinpoint where their interest lies.
I am a thirty-eight-year veteran Biology teacher who has taught forensic camps for over twenty years. I've also taken Introduction to Forensics; 2022 Nanyang Technological University, Singapore through Coursera to stay abreast on current techniques and technology used in this field.

Few points to consider: -Being that forensics is of a sensitive nature, all that death entails may be mentioned from time to time. -Students will be using vinegar which is a mild acid. Students may need to be careful to not get this in their eyes. -Also, we will be using super glue and this must be handled carefully so as not to cause any skin irritations.
