Students will learn about hermit crabs and their care. I have had over 20 hermit crabs in my life. While I haven't had any in a while, I am still involved in the communities online, and genuinely find them interesting creatures. Please be advised that there are no live crabs in this class, but if students would like to share their own, they are more than welcome to! I also have a flex version of this class that you can take. https://outschool.com/classes/hermit-crabs-understanding-their-care-jH9pXlym#usA2SE7heo This course will use a Google Slides presentation that presents information on hermit crabs, with a combination of the best care tips and environment for them. We will apply the information learned from the slides and look at pictures and videos to discuss why different habitats are good and why some are bad. At the end of the course, students will a draw picture of an ideal habitat, and share it with the glass if they'd like.
