こんにちは！スウェーデン語初心者（7～9歳）

In this class, young learners will learn basic Swedish pronunciation and words/expressions. Look below for a detailed schedule for each week. The student doesn't need to know any Swedish before the class. 

There will be a document in the classroom with the material needed for each week. No homework will be given between the classes, but reviewing and practicing between the lessons is always good. 

Week 1: How to say hello and ask for someone's name and answer back and how to say thank you, see you next week, and goodbye.

After week 1, we will start and end every class with the expressions from week one. 

Week 2: I see an animal. How to say "I see" and animal names

Week 3: Would you like an apple? How to ask if someone would like a particular food and how to say "yes, please" and "no, thank you."

Week 4: I see a green apple—colors and repetition of week two and three's words. 

Week 5: Today, it is sunny—weather and how to tell someone about the weather.

Week 6: I am happy! Emotions 

Week 7: I see four bananas and two dogs- counting and repeating the words from weeks two and three.

Week 8: Draw a picture of a house and label the parts; roof, walls, window, door, chimney.




We will also talk about the Swedish expressions fika and lagom.
