Younger students will learn all about hedgehogs through interactive and creative learning methods. Students will learn about hedgehogs, their habitat, eating habits and family life. Students will learn all about the different wild species of hedgehogs from the docile to the vicious apex predator that it can be! We will also learn about domestication and the challenges and joys of having a hedgehog as a pet. A focus will be on conservation and care of this magnificent animal. Students will be delve into video, handouts, creative options and multimedia presentations that are all guided by the teacher. At the end students will quickly learn to draw a cute hedgehog using a sketching technique.
