Greetings Magical Students,

 In this book discussion, we will look to the Harry Potter series for answers on the theme of Magical Creatures present in the book. For this section we will focus on discussing about all enchanting pets.   We will be using this class time to critically discuss and examine each student's thoughts on different enchanted pets present in the series. We will open up every class with introductions and then begin our discussion. As the Professor, I will prompt students with pre planned questions based on the theme of the class-Magical Creatures. The students will then use their own opinions and reasoning skills to answer the book discussion questions. Every student will be given the opportunity to give an answer to each question. They will also be given the opportunity to explain why they  came to and decided on their answer. 

Our agenda for this 30 minute class:
-Introductions and explanation of the class (5 minutes)
-Discussion Question
-Conclusion: Each student will have the opportunity to share or ask a question related to the topic.
 
Talking about a topic that you are passionate about is fun and helps to build listening and public speaking skills. Students are welcome to come to class dressed in Harry Potter robes or attire. Wands and magical pets are welcome as well!

My Personal Class Policies:
- Classes need to have at least three learners in order to facilitate a rich discussion.  Low enrollment will result in a refund or a transfer of the learner, at the option of the parent.  
- Learners need to follow classroom expectations and be respectful to others.
- For security reasons, learners must show themselves on the camera for a moment at the beginning of class to verify their identities.   
- Be prepared for class as I love to interact with everyone.  
-There is always the possibility of a good discussion extending past the class end time. Learners should not feel obligated to stay past the schedule time.
