In this eight week self-paced class, learners will be reading the book "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban ." This is a self-paced class so there are no live classes. Learners will read the book when it is convenient for them. There will also be a 10-question worksheet for the leaner to complete. The worksheet I created using Canva, but the learner does not need an account to access it. They will be able to download it and print it out. During the week there will also be fun "would you rather" questions posted in the classroom. The questions will be themed around the weekly reading assignments. If a learner has any questions about the reading or doesn't understand something, they can post the question in the classroom or message me directly. There will also be a fun Blooket game each week. Only the learners in the self-paced class will have access to the game. The learner can sign up for a free Blooket account to participate or play as a guest. The Blooket trivia questions will come from the week's chapter reading. After reading the book learners are encouraged to watch the movie "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” then post in the classroom what the differences are in the book verses the movie. During the self-paced class we will be using the platform Blooket. Blooket is a fun game that ask learners trivia questions and the learners earn coins to spend on upgrading their character.
