**This Holly Day (Holiday) Brain Teasing Fun Edition is a sample of my critical thinking classes. It includes examples (like the one above) of beginner through advanced puzzles.** In this class you will utilize your prior knowledge and tap into your ability to think creatively. It will will challenge your memory, focus and thinking skills. If necessary, I will re-teach strategies to increase these skills. We will work on your observation, critical thinking, reasoning and problem solving skills. This class will provide you with a safe place to "think differently" and have fun. In this class, you will have the opportunity to practice socializing, increase your speaking confidence and meet new people from around the world! In this class you will: 1) Learn to listen/look for important clues/details and alternate meanings. 2) Solve puzzles to improve your analytical abilities. 3) Collaborate with other learners respectfully. 4) Learn that it is okay to make mistakes along the learning journey!

Thank you so much for visiting my class information page! In addition to having a Master's in Education degree, I am a certified (State, GT, ESL, TESOL, TEFL, TEYL) teacher who has been working with kids in a variety of capacities for over 25 years! I love teaching students how to learn! My goal as a teacher is to help students not only learn material, but to develop a love of learning as well. I understand that every learner is unique, so I strive provide meet them where they are. I focus on helping students learn content while incorporating important life skills such as: communication, problem solving, creative thinking and social skills. My teaching style is very learner-led!
Please note that all of my classes are ESL and neuro-divergent friendly. I strive to provide inclusive classes in which learners of all abilities are welcome. Feel free to contact me prior to class with any accommodation requests.
