Welcome to our one time Halloween themed pen and ink drawing class for poetry lovers, where we will dive deeply into the haunted world of Edgar Allan Poe. In this class, we will focus primarily on some poetic literary devices before learning how to draw a realistic gravesite of our own. This is a course that is perfect for beginning artists and specializes in using step by step drawing techniques to help us create realistic shadow, space and depth. These step by step demonstrations are meant to help blossoming artists perfect their skills. All artists are welcome to participate in this class, no matter their skill level. I will personally guide you each step of the way and will be eagerly waiting to answer your questions. The first half of class will begin with an ice breaker, we will then study a famous poem and play an interactive game to assess what we have learned. After game time, we will then draw and shade the raven under the guidance of a certified art educator. Each student should leave this class with a stronger sense of confidence when drawing. A variety of all different types of learners are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Those with anxiety have the option to turn off their cameras after attendance has been taken and use the chat box/reactions to participate. All directions are given in step by step format & the pace of the class is determined by the learner
保護者へのお知らせ
There may be times where we will be using YouTube videos via screen share to help us get an animated version of the poem being featured in class. Other times we may use YouTube videos to help us understand a literary device more clearly. However, there will be no need to sign up for any programs in order to participate.
