このクラスで学べること
In this guided drawing/painting class, students will create a landscape painting inspired by a covered bridge (Smith Bridge in Plymouth, NH to be specific unless students have a favorite covered bridge). I teach through: tell, show, do, feedback (a method I learned in my time with Starbucks, a long time ago) I find that students learn in a variety of ways (hearing, seeing and doing). This practice allows every student to learn in their own unique way. I will teach the steps to creating a fun landscape painting from start to finish on paper or canvas using acrylic paints. Feedback is essential to artists ( and learners!), I love doing gallery walks where students can share their artwork and get praise and critiques from their peers (what they did well, what they can improve on etc). No experience is needed, come join us in a fun painting exercise.

8" x 10" canvas, canvas board or paper (thinner papers do not hold up well with paint, though a mixed media thicker paper will work). (For the budding/active artist 10-24 pks online range from $12-$30) Walmart in store 6pk: $5 Royal and Langnickel brand pencil eraser acrylic paints: Red, Yellow, Blue, Brown and White are a must have (we can mix colors) acrylic paint sets online range from $10-$50 depending on your budget and artist. paint brushes water cup paper towel paper plate or paint palette to mix on
