Gardening is fun, and we can help each other grow! This is a weekly club to talk about all things garden-related and learn how to grow our own food. Each week there will be a new lesson on gardening, and students will be able to ask questions and share progress on their own gardens. The goal of this club is for students to have fun while learning, gain knowledge about gardening, and receive support and advice from the teacher for their own gardens. No prior gardening experience is necessary! New students are welcome to join in at any point, as each session will be geared towards newcomers. Lesson topics will include: botany, garden planning, healthy soil, seeding, companion planting, watering, pollinators, composting, harvesting, and suggestions for delicious garden-fresh meals and snacks!
