It is a story about a groundhog waking up to go predict the weather. Learners will take turns discussing the story and the pictures. Then the learners will make a groundhog puppet. Then everyone will use their puppets to do a fun groundhog day poem. Please print the groundhog puppet and cut it out before class. Please make sure that your learner has something to use to color the groundhog. Please ask for a different time if you do not see one that fits your schedule.
