グルーヴとムーブ：ダイナミックなダンスアドベンチャー

I have been dancing since the age of five and it has been my life ever since. I grew up in a small town in Indiana dreaming of a way to get out and pursue my dreams. So I worked hard to get into Debbie Allen's Dance Academy's Summer Intensive. From there I danced professionally in the Hot Chocolate Nutcracker which was featured on Netflix. From there I attended the number one arts High School in the U.S. the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Where I performed with the Limon Company and several other modern companies. I was chosen to dance with the Alvin Ailey Dance Company during their summer intensive in 2018 as well. I now attend New York University's Tisch School of the Arts as a major in dance. I recently graduated with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Dance from New York University in May of 2024. That year I performed as a soloist in the Limon Dance Company's classic work "Missa Brevis" and Kyle Abraham's "A Quiet Dance". My recent work has been apprenticing with Evidence Dance, David Dorfman Dance, Gibney Dance, Limon, A.I.M, and Komoco. My teaching journey began when I was in highschool while i was dancing with the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. I started working as an assistant teacher with the Early Bird Academy which is their program for young dancers ages 3-10. After a year I was able to teach my own classes, I taught ballet, jazz, and hip hop. Once I graduated highschool I moved to NYC to pursue my degree and I simultaneously began teaching through the site SuperProf. I have been teaching classes throughout the city for dance students with ages varying from 4 to 14 years old. Through the site I taught ballet, hiphop, jazz, modern, and contemporary. I have also choreographed several pieces that are shown in the images on my profile.
