In this course, students will learn how to express themselves through fashion, discover what makes them feel comfortable and stylish, and understand the importance of dressing for different occasions—whether it's a special event, a casual outing, or a formal gathering. Throughout the class, students will: - **Explore Style and Fashion**: Learn about different types of clothing, from casual wear to formal attire, and how each piece can reflect their personality. - **Build Confidence**: Understand the connection between how we dress and how we feel, and practice how to wear outfits that make them feel confident and empowered. - **Occasion-Appropriate Dressing**: Discover what to wear for specific occasions such as parties, interviews, school events, and holidays. - **Mix and Match**: Get creative with outfit combinations and learn how to mix patterns, colors, and textures to create unique looks. - **Etiquette and Grooming Tips**: Learn the basics of grooming and personal care, including how to look polished and feel your best. Please note your child must be able to do the above by themselves This class is designed to be both educational and hands-on. Students will have opportunities to share their favorite outfits, engage in styling challenges, and participate in fun, confidence-boosting activities. **Who should take this class?** This class is perfect for kids ages 8-13 who are interested in learning more about personal style and fashion in a fun, supportive environment, in a private server. *Dress to impress and let your style shine!* ✨

Please support your child’s creative decisions, but also help them understand the importance of dressing appropriately for various settings (e.g., school, interviews, formal events).

This class celebrates a wide range of styles, body types, and cultural expressions. We ask that you support your child in exploring fashion choices that reflect their personality while respecting the preferences of their peers.
Comfort & Confidence
It's important that students feel comfortable in the clothing they choose. We recommend that students wear outfits that make them feel confident, but also consider the practical aspects of fit and comfort. If possible, encourage them to try on different outfits before class to ensure they feel good wearing them.
Internet Safety & Appropriate Behavior
Since this class will involve group discussions and potentially showing off outfits via video, please ensure that your child understands appropriate online behavior. They should be respectful of others’ choices, avoid sharing personal or identifying information, and maintain a positive and kind attitude throughout the course.
Materials & Preparation
During class, students may be asked to participate in simple activities such as dressing up, discussing different types of clothing, or preparing a "look" for a particular event. Please help your child gather any materials or clothing they may need before each session. A list of items to prepare will be provided in advance for each class.
Privacy & Recording
Please be aware that Outschool sessions are recorded for safety and privacy reasons. We encourage students to actively participate and engage with others, while respecting the boundaries and comfort levels of their classmates.
