In this class I'll teach how to do multiplication and division (as well as addition and subtraction if necessary) quickly and accurately. The class will be structured as such: 1st well do a short assesment, then we'll follow up with a lesson on why catchy drills are useful, then we'll do some drills by singing and making catchy phrases about multiplication, finally we'll put the drills to use in some practice exercises to solidify the lesson.
- Building fundamentals: how to count by numbers up to 10 and/or 15
Used the fundamentals here to help me get through tough courses in college and began with these types of drills with my own father. Since then I've used it as a private tutor while in college and as an online tutor over the last 3 years. It can completely transform the math experience for some children making them much more competitive.
