This class is a 6 week course where students will learn the basics of ballet dance. We will learn the five foot positions, five arm positions and some ballet terminology all while dancing, exercising, and physically moving. Throughout dancing, they will review preschool basics such as letters, numbers, animals and everyday items throughout the class. Our class, each week, will consist of a routine proven to encourage participation from the youngest to the oldest student. It is at times overwhelming to participate fully, which is why it is a great course as the consistency will make every feel right at home on the screen. 

During class, we will dance and sing to music but we will also stop to interact verbally as well as play games and learn how to socialize in an age appropriate way- waiting our turn, asking and answering politely. 

Your student will leave this course with exposure to the basics of preschool, basics of ballet dance, a better exercise habit, and a great review of social etiquette as is expected for young learners of their age. 

There will always be a post lesson activity sent home, whether a color sheet or other hands on activity to keep the learning process growing and expanding throughout the week until we meet again.

All FUNdamental Ballet classes stand alone, but it is encouraged for dancers to participate in the entire series.
