Students will practice phonic skills and will begin to learn using reading strategies.

I am thrilled for the opportunity to teach your child the basics of reading.  I have over 20 years teaching experience and am a certified Reading Specialist. I currently help design curriculum for all grade levels and have designed a list of readiness skills and a reading list that you will receive to help your child succeed in their journey of reading. My goal for each student is to help them find joy and confidence in learning. I am a passionate and patient teacher that specializes in making each student feel special and comfortable with learning new topics or mastering topics they do not feel so confident in.
