Having grown up in a bilingual home, I know that repetition and using words and phrases in different contexts is the key to learning any new language. As an ESL teacher I also know that children love to learn when they are in a fun atmosphere and the more exposure to the language...the better!

The only homework will be their drawings if not completed by the end of the class. This will only be required if the child "wants" to draw outside of class time as I do not want a situation where the child is dreading attending the class if their drawings are not complete. Students are encouraged to review class lessons for 10 minutes each day, at least 5 days a week outside of class and to complete any drawings that they had not finished in class.

All children will be asked to repeat the words of the day and at the end of class to see if they can recall the words on their own.
