I have been a professional educator for over two decades. I love to teach Language Arts with a focus on upper elementary through advanced middle school. My love for teaching people to effectively communicate drove me to obtain a bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis on writing and a master's degree in education I also hold TESOL and TEFL certifications. This is what brings me to Outschool. The flexibility of Outschool allows me to create classes students love and learn from. I'm not bound to a testing cycle or the structure of a traditional classroom. 
I teach students how to learn while giving them engaging and effective ways to demonstrate their understanding. 
My experience is vast and ranges from one on one tutoring to delivering professional development to hundreds of adults. My educational toolbox is full of strategies to increase any student's success. I enjoy getting to know my students and their unique learning needs. My classes are great for filling in gaps in learning or excelling an advanced student, learning is fun, focused, and unique. Watching students learn and grow their skills is one of my greatest joys!
