This class will focus upon providing your child with an overview of key topics in the 2nd-6th grade math curriculum. A purposeful mix of assessment, math games, and instructional strategies will be provided to insure that the student has fun and is engaged. Lessons may focus upon such topics as addition, subtraction, place value, multiplication, division, fractions, measurement or geometry aligned with the child's needs. I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I have taught intervention classes for grades K-5 and worked as a classroom teacher for all subjects in grades 4 and 5 for over 10 years. I am honored to have received the award for 5th Grade Teacher of the Year by my local Boys and Girls Club.
