What Will Be Taught: This course is designed to introduce elementary students to the basics of using Canva and exploring story elements. Students will learn how to create engaging book covers, illustrate characters and settings, add text to story pages, and effectively save and share their work. The course will blend creativity, design skills, and storytelling to help students bring their imaginative ideas to life.

Planning Your Own Story: Organizing ideas and creating a story plan.

Illustrating Characters in Canva: Finding and creating illustrations for story characters.

Creating Illustrated Settings: Designing vibrant backgrounds that match story settings.

Adding Text to Story Pages: Using Canva to add and customize text on illustrated pages.

Designing a Book Cover: Creating a custom book cover with titles, bylines, and design elements.
