Bonjour! Hello! J'aime les avions! I like planes! In this one-time class, learners will take part in French songs, creative movement & instrument play relating to transportation. The format of the class will be as follows: Hello Song - Bonjour! Talking about different forms of transportation (le transport) - What's your favourite vehicle? Have you been on a train or in a plane? What's your favourite colour car or truck? Creative movement - we will pretend to drive cars, fly planes & ride on trains and boats all while listening to music Songs - we will learn a song about different forms of transportation (le train - train, le bateau - boat, l'avion - plane, la voiture - car, le camion - truck) Goodbye Song - Au revoir! I will repeat instructions in both English and French. When learners answer questions in English, I will give them the French words for their answer as well, ie. "Oh, you like trucks? Tu aimes les camions? Me too! Moi aussi!" In this way, all learners can follow along. By the end of the class, the expectation is that learners will know a few simple words - transport (transportation), voiture (car), train (train), bateau (boat), avion (plane), camion (truck), etc.

保護者へのお知らせ
Please ensure that your learner has ample space to move around since we will be jumping, "flying" & moving a lot during class. A water bottle would also be a good idea.
受講に必要なもの
Please gather up any instruments you have around the home - shakers, drums, bells, etc. If you have toy vehicles, they would also be welcome in this class!

I could tell you about my qualifications, but that alone won't tell you who I am. I have a MMus. in Violin Performance, B.Mus. in Violin Performance, and BA in French. I have been teaching for over 30 years and thankfully still love it!
I currently offer violin, viola, piano, French, and Hebrew classes.
