Hello, If you have a learner who is struggling with fractions. This is the class for them. Here's what we will cover: 1. Adding Fractions with Like and Unlike denominators ; also with whole and Mixed Numbers 2. Subtracting Fractions with Like and Unlike denominators ; also with whole and Mixed Numbers 3. Multiplying Fractions 4. Dividing Fractions There are 3 week parts to this class: 20 Minute live class (Intensive focus on learning the subject matter) Extra practice worksheet (students are to practice the topic taught at home) Nearpod at home lesson (interactive online lesson for students to complete activities at home for the third practice of the subject matter for the week) THE GOAL IS TO PRACTICE 3 TIMES A WEEK TO MASTER THE TOPIC OF THE WEEK BEFORE MOVING TO THE NEXT TOPIC THE FOLLOWING WEEK This class uses Nearpod to engage with the teacher and other students through challenges and activities. Students can access Nearpod via an internet browser or by downloading the app. IXL also pairs well with this class for extra practice. If you only need to concentrate on a single topic I have individual classes that focus only on: Multiplication Multiply Digit Multiplication Division Fractions Or a complete remedial course that goes through most 3rd-5th grade Math

Hello! My name is Mrs. JaLes and I am dedicated to proving that learning is effective when kids have the freedom to explore. What do I mean by this? From a early age our kids are learning everything from exploring (touching, engaging, inquiring, investigating, practicing, reassessing, and finally conquering). Then they start school and we add structure and try to make them fit in a box.
