In this class, we will play Fortnite together. Using private parties, we will play Fortnite. The goal of this class is for learners to socially interact with other learners as they play the game each week. All skill levels are welcome, but for maximum enjoyment, learners should have basic knowledge of the game and know how to change their settings and accept "join party" requests. RULES: -In order to join our private party, learners will need to share their gamer tag with me. This must be...
In this social club, learners will meet other players close to their age and also get the chance to talk about their favorite games and characters. As we play together, we can learn from each other and form friendships.
I have other video game social club classes similar to this on Outschool. I am familiar with the best ways to keep gameplay fair, fun, and engaging for students.
In order to play the game and participate in class, students will need the following. -A device that is compatible with Fortnite -Fortnite must be downloaded to the device -Depending on the device you may need additional accounts such as a Microsoft account if playing on Xbox etc. -An EpicGames account is highly recommended. Students may want to keep the charger nearby or make sure the device is fully charged before class.
In order to join my private party, learners will need to share their gamer tag with me. This must be done privately either through a private message on Outschool before class, or a private zoom message during class. Fortnite is rated T for teens by the ESRB for violence. Quoted from the ESRB website: "This is an action game in which players build forts, gather resources, craft weapons, and battle hordes of monsters in frenetic combat. From a third-person perspective, players use guns, swords, and grenades to fight skeleton-like monsters (husks) in ranged and melee-style combat. Players can also defeat enemies by using various traps (e.g., electric, spikes, poisonous gas). Battles are highlighted by frequent gunfire, explosions, and cries of pain."
Refund Policy: Outschool has implemented a way to pause your subscription in ongoing classes. You can read about it here: https://support.outschool.com/en/articles/2272596-understanding-ongoing-classes In light of this, I’m adjusting my refund...
