Hello! Thank you for previewing my class.  Like some children, I am a huge fan for football. Football can teach a person many things such as leadership, communication, commitment and patience. My goal for this class is to help your child learn more about the game of football and be able to communicate in a positive way their own opinions about football. My other goal for this class is that your child has fun and increases their interest in football.  This class focuses on the history of football, some rules about football, and some group discussions about our favorite football players. 

This class will be structured like this: 
5 minutes: Greetings/Introductions.  

15 minutes: Learning about the history of football/rules via Google Slides created by Teacher Tommy in Zoom. I will share my screen for everyone to see. 

15 minutes: Group discussions about what we learned and who are our favorite football players. 

20 minutes: Kahoot which is an interactive game where students answer multiple choice and true/false questions through a electronic device that is connected to the internet. We will be answering questions about the history/rules of football. A link for Kahoot will be provided for students when class begins. To access Kahoot, students can use their computer or cell phone with the link.  Whoever can answer the question in Kahoot correctly and the quickest, will earn the most points for that question. 

I like to provide a safe and energetic learning environment for my students. I do my best to get everyone to participate in class. All students are welcome for this class. A background or knowledge of football is encouraged but not required.
