During this class, your child will learn the fundamentals of oral story writing, basic songwriting (stories put to music) and kinesthetic creative expression also known as dance. As a teacher, I like to utilize the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approach. Learning is broken down into four groups, audio (hearing), visual (graphics), tactile (manipulatives or movable objects), and kinesthetic learning (learn by doing & moving your body). It is encouraged that each learner takes turns throughout the class. Although, I will never force anyone to participate. Some students feel more comfortable watching for a while, and whenever they feel comfortable they can join in. You do not need prior knowledge in any of the topic areas. If you need accommodations of any type, please let me know and I will do my best to make this class accessible to all types of learners.

保護者へのお知らせ
We will have a “brain break” at the end of the class, where we will learn each other dance moves. Some open space is required & water would be helpful. The moves will be moderate & not meant to be a workout, but move of a creative outlet. Please be aware & available to supervise that your child is dancing in a safe way.
