Hello! My name is Kristi Robertson. Thank you for your interest in Fold-and-Fly Paper Airplane Self-Paced Class! This class is an opportunity for your child to have fun making two styles of paper airplanes per week and testing its flight or acrobatic abilities. The Fold-and-Fly Paper Airplane Club Flex Class is a 4-week asynchronous or self-paced class (no Zoom meetings). We will cover the following elements in class:

1. Airplane design
Learners will assess the overall paper airplane design, its difficulty level, and the number of paper folds required to complete the plane.

2. Flight type
Learners will identify if the paper airplane is designed for distance, time aloft, acrobatic, or decorative flight. For distance and time aloft flight types we will discuss average distance and average time aloft.

Twice per week learners will:

1. Create paper airplanes
2. Conduct test flights
3. Assess the test flight results

Learners will interact with me and other students by answering questions in the Classroom Discussion thread, posting their flight results, and responding to others.
