This Acting beginner's class will cover all of the guidelines on how to become a working Actor in Hollywood and how to get started acting right in your own city! I will uncover all of the Hollywood secrets to auditioning and booking roles! This will be done with the support of carefully crafted step -by-step outlines, reviews of well known acting techniques from popular Hollywood coaches, and a finished on-camera TV/Film scene performed by you and critiqued by me at the end of the course. (Scenes will be sent by students via Youtube & critiqued outside of class).

Throughout this masterclass, students will learn the following:

- The Business of Hollywood Acting (Industry Secrets That They Don't Tell You in Acting School)
- Scene Study Acting Techniques & How to Properly Break Down a Scene
- On-Camera Audition Techniques and Selftapes
- Acting Improv Games
- How to Audition for Commercials
- How to Start Your Acting Career in Your City (How to Format Resumes, Create Demo Reels, Choose Headshots and Find an Agent)

**Student/Teacher Interaction

Students will watch pre-recorded videos of the lessons and video examples during the courses. Through weekly discussion questions/challenge activities the students will engage with the teacher. Students will also post their weekly monologues and scenes for critique. Via analysis of headshots, demo reels, resumes, class assignments, or discussion between the teacher and other students, the student will have a high interaction.  Students will also choose between multiple monologues and commercial scripts to get critiqued by Coach Holly. Two person scenes will be divided by the classmates for practice. This student to student interaction will teach the student how to act with other scene partners. After the weekly critiques, the student will upload a polished monologue and commercial for their demo reel. Students will have weekly access to the teacher in order to get guidance on finding ways to start acting in the community, how to format your resume, how to create demo reels, how to find a headshot photographer and how to target and set up a meeting with a talent agent.

**BONUS: Students will leave the course with a polished on-camera (comedy or dramatic) scene critiqued by Coach Charity (via online video submission) for future acting auditions.
