This 8-week mindfulness course is designed specifically for teenagers, helping them to develop self-awareness and resilience through the practice of mindfulness. The course will provide tools and techniques for reducing stress, improving focus and concentration, and building a strong sense of inner peace and well-being. Each week, students will learn a new mindfulness practice, such as mindful breathing, meditation, and will be given the opportunity to reflect on their experiences and discuss their progress with their peers. Each week will focus on a different aspect of mindfulness and how it can be applied to improve academic performance. The class will be divided into the following topics: Week 1 : Topics in session 1 will include: Introduction to Mindfulness To Help Study Week 2 : Topics in session 2 will include: Mindful Breathing Week 3 : Topics in session 3 will include: Mindful Movement Week 4: Topics in session 4 will include: Mindful Eating Week 5: Topics in session 5 will include: Mindful Self-Regulation Week 6: Topics in session 6 will include: Mindful Communication Week 7: Topics in session 7 will include: Mindful Compassion Week 8: Topics in session 8 will include: Mindful Leadership Skills The flexible schedule (Flex Class) allows your learners to watch the pre-recorded videos and do them at a time that is FUN for them! You can also spend extra time on the topics your child is most interested in. Since this is a flex class with no live meetings, students can log in at a convenient time to complete the week's lesson. We will be going through each week as a group and I will post the lesson weekly (depending on which day you started). The videos will contain the information required to give students a good understanding of each topic and each one will include homework for the students to undertake during the week, as part of a project. After watching each video and completing the homework assignments, students will be provided with feedback and the specific next steps on how to create a process to manage their finances successfully. Time frame for the Week: Mondays - The teacher will post the information needed for the week. Students can submit questions. Tuesdays - Wednesday - The teacher can answer any questions pertaining to the topic of the week. The students will need to complete any homework assignments and answer any questions in the discussion. Thursday - Students need to have all tasks completed and uploaded in the classroom for teacher feedback and discussion. Students will discuss it among themselves. Friday - The teacher will provide feedback to the class and individual students. Saturday - Sunday - The teacher will be available to answer any questions that the students may have for the week or the next week. Please note: This course requires no prior experience. *If you do not see a time or date listed for a class that interests you, please message me with a few possible dates and times, and I will do my best to offer a session that will work for your schedule. ▬▬▬▬▬▬ Concessions ▬▬▬▬▬▬ For parents/families who feel their child would benefit from this course, but their budget does not allow for it, I do offer a number of discounts for families of lower income. Johnathan is a serial entrepreneur who founded three successful companies before the age of 30. He has a strong drive to succeed in life, which began in his teenage years when he learned the power of positive motivation. He was fortunate to have a mentor who guided him through the complexities of financial management, helping him to understand the value of money and how to identify and seize opportunities.
Jo was taught "Mindfulness" techniques at university which he then used to help him study as well as run his businesses. As a black belt in Kenpō, he also teaches "Mindfulness" techniques in his martial arts training.
In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Johnathan holds a Bachelors of Science degree and has experience teaching life skills, business, and finance to middle and high school students and adults around the world both live in person and online via Zoom.
