While being able to finish a painting in one sitting can be satisfying, it is often hard to experiment with different techniques because we need drying time in between. This FLEX course will give us the chance to create several works of art with many layers and in stages throughout the weeks. - 4 to 5 painting surfaces* - this can vary with what supplies you have at home: *stretched canvas, canvas board, canvas paper, cardboard, thick paper, recycled materials like the inside of a cereal box, etc. - 4 to 5 pieces of paper the same size as your painting surface - pencil - acrylic paint - brushes - a variety of sizes - water cup - paper towel - palette - this can be a paper plate, a sheet of wax paper, or an old magazine For easy cleanup, a placemat and apron or paint shirt are encouraged
