Goals are for students to be able to learn great drawing skills that artists use to create great art. The skills I teach are the same ones I was taught in graduate school. Students will be able to envelope (Understand proportions) Start with basic shapes then move to detailed shapes, and then shading. Students will also gain confidence in their art skills by the end of the class.

I have a love of drawing (and a few degrees in art) but more importantly I love teaching students how to draw from basic shapes to detailed. It helps them to be a better artist all around and the feedback from parents proves that it is successful for their student. I have my own kids, whom I homeschool, and  I have taught k-12 for more than 10 years, as well as working with students in a museum setting, and I am a college professor who teaches studio art and art appreciation.
