🌟Welcome to First Grade Phonics Fun: Decodable Reading for Beginners!

In this phonics class, students will build strong reading skills by learning a new phonics concept each week. Each lesson includes a carefully structured approach to help students understand letter sounds, blends, digraphs, and word patterns. We’ll focus on applying these skills to read simple, decodable books that align with each week's concept.

Each lesson follows a step-by-step process:

          1.  Introduction to New Phonics Skill – Students will be introduced to a new sound or 
               letter pattern, such as blends, digraphs, or vowel rules.

          2.  Guided Practice – Together, we will practice decoding words that use the new skill, 
               helping students learn how to break down and blend sounds.

          3.  Reading a Decodable Story – Students will read a carefully selected story that 
               focuses on the weekly phonics concept, allowing them to practice applying what 
               they’ve learned in context.

          4.  Fluency and Comprehension – As we read, we'll also work on understanding the 
                story, making connections, and building fluency by rereading and discussing the 
                text.

By the end of the course, students will gain a deeper understanding of how letters and sounds work together, boosting their confidence and reading ability. Join us for an engaging and interactive journey into the world of phonics and reading!
