A small (6 student max) class for students to practice their math skills. 
Learn first grade math. Class is very interactive. Students are asked to bring a whiteboard for writing problems down. The teacher will be sure the student knows how to correctly form numbers and equations. 
Here is what we practice: counting by 2's, 5's 10's. Flashcards: learning tricks to be faster at math. Adding pairs (2+2, 3+3 etc.) Putting them to use they can help us be quick at math. Identifying even or odd. Place value. Stacked addition.  
 We play a dice game for interaction and to build their confidence in numbers. Practice so we won't need all our fingers to add or subtract. I will encourage your child to call out answers if they know. Small classes means we can stay unmuted most of the time in class. (Please make sure your child is in a quiet environment if possible) I want to make your child feel confident and happy doing math.
