Learning Goals
Identify farm animals and basic facts about them: Students will be able to identify different farm animals and learn interesting facts about each one, including their habits, characteristics, and how they are cared for on the farm.
Explore Creativity Through Drawing & Crafts: Students will explore their creative side by learning how to draw various farm animals step-by-step, and create fun, animal-themed crafts that help reinforce their learning.

Learn About Chickens
Come meet some of the chickens on our farm, learn what they like to eat, talk about the parts of a chicken, and discover some interesting facts about chickens! We will also be learning how to draw a chicken and make a chicken craft!

Learn About Pigs
In this lesson we will learn about pigs! We will learn some facts about pigs, the different parts of a pig, what pigs eat and how they are kept on farms. We will also learn how to draw a pig and make a piggy craft!

Learn About Bunnies
We are going to learn about cute cuddly bunnies! We will talk about the parts of a bunny, what bunnies eat, where they can live as pets and on a farm, and go over fun facts about bunnies. We will also learn how to draw a bunny and make a bunny craft.

Learn About Goats
Come meet some of the goats on our farm! We will go over facts about goats, learn the parts of a goat, listen to how goats sound, and what they like to eat. We will learn how to draw a goat, and make a goat craft.

Parental Guidance
Scissors, glue and markers will be used when making the craft. Younger students may need parent assistance with creating the craft if these tools are hard for them to use independently.
Supply List
All lessons will need white paper, pencil and coloring tools (crayons, colored pencils or markers work) Each lessons supplies for the craft are listed below Lesson 1: white paper plate red colored paper yellow colored paper black colored paper scissors glue (glue stick is suggested but liquid will work too) Lesson 2: pink paper plate (can be a white one that has been colored or painted pink as well) pink colored paper pink pipe cleaner black marker scissors glue (glue stick is suggested but liquid will work too) masking or clear tape Lesson 3: 1 brown paper bag (lunch size) white and pink paper 2 large googly eyes black marker Lesson 4: Empty toilet paper roll (the cardboard part) colored paper (black, brown or gray) 2 googly eyes black marker scissors glue (glue stick is suggested but liquid will work too)

Hi! Iβm passionate about learning and growing, and I canβt wait to share that enthusiasm with your students! For the past 9 years, Iβve lived on a small farm with my family, raising a variety of animals, and I absolutely love teaching others about them.
With over 14 years of experience working with children and youth, Iβve had the pleasure of teaching in many different settings. Iβve worked as a preschool teacher, church youth teacher, 4H leader/adviser, and Iβve homeschooled my own children for over 11 years.
I have training in early childhood education, as well as experience working with children with special needs and at-risk youth. I believe every child is unique, and Iβm dedicated to creating a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment for all students.
Whether itβs teaching about farm animals, art, or life skills, Iβm excited to inspire curiosity and a love of learning in every student I work with!
